Nurturing Wellness: My Journey into Holistic Health

Over the past two years, holistic health and wellness have transformed, not only how I care for myself, but how I view the world around me. What began as a personal exploration has blossomed into a deep passion; one rooted in balance, healing, and helping others achieve their best selves. At my core I believe wellness isn’t just about looking good, It’s about feeling vibrant, aligned and connected from the inside out.

Growing up, I often overlooked the importance of mental and physical harmony, but during a time when I felt disconnected,  anxious, and at a very low point, I looked out to find myself and I turned to holistic practices, nutrient-rich foods, mindful movement, and ancient healing methods. For the first time, I felt truly well. That shift inspired me to dig deeper into the world of alternative medicine and integrative health and I haven’t looked back since.

Earlier this year (Jan, 2025) I was given the incredible opportunity to intern at an acupuncture clinic under the guidance of Dr. Lindsay Trottier.  As her mentee, I learned firsthand the powerful impact that holistic care can have on someone’s life. From understanding how energy flows through the body to witnessing patient’s find relief and renewal through natural remedies, I was inspired by how accessible healing can be when we honor the body and it’s natural thrive in healing and health.

That experience helped spark the creation of my blog Zenith femme on social media, a space where I share wellness practices, living tips, nourishing recipes, and empowering insights for girls and women. Through it, I hope to inspire others to fall in love with taking care of themselves and to understand that wellness isn’t one size fits all. Whether it’s a warm herbal tea that calms anxiety, a daily walk that clears your mind, some frequency meditation for chakra healing, or a HIIT weighted workout that awakens your body, these small, consistent, rituals matter.

Holistic health encourages us to treat the root causes of imbalance rather than just the symptoms. It’s a field that blends science and nature, ancient tradition with modern understanding. Whether it’s learning how acupuncture improves circulation and calm the nervous system, or discovering the benefits of anti-inflammatory foods for gut health, I’ve seen how knowledge can be empowering, especially for young people who are still learning how to care for themselves in sustainable natural ways.

Looking ahead, my dream is to open a wellness and natural remedies studio that offers services like acupuncture, yoga, herbal consultations, organic foods bar, and more. I hope to create a safe space where people can reconnect with themselves and access personalized whole-body care. I envision it as a place of healing , beauty, and education. Where community and compassion come first.

Whether you’re just curious or already immersed in the world of holistic health, trust that every step you take toward your well-being is a step in the right direction.
